Easily connect a portable energy source to any building, hospital, pump station or concert hall using our line of generator docking stations. We offer a variety of convenient options and customized features including two-wire auto start, load dump receptacles, shore power receptacles, metering and strip heaters.

Custom-mounted to your structure, each station allows for quick and easy connection of external generator power and our unique design helps prevent theft and hazardous disconnects.

What is a Generator Docking Station?

Trystar Docking Stations are extremely flexible and can be designed to fit even the most complex one-line.  Used for temporary generator connection, load bank connection or both at the same time.

Trystar's innovative designs provide for the utmost flexibility to meet site needs.  Docking Stations provide the means to quickly, safely and legally hook up and disconnect portable generators before, during and after extended power outages, safely and economically load test permanent generators, and maintain automatic transfer switches.

Docking Stations can also be configured as power output panels.  Used for roll-up chiller applications on critical sites, or as company switches in stadiums and convention centers

Rotary Generator Docking Station

A rotary docking station is a manual transfer switch with the camlok connection built into the same enclosure. Typically in lower amperage situations, this product is taking the place of a double throw transfer switch and a secondary camlok connection cabinet mounted adjacent to this switch. We incorporated both cabinets into one, saving time and money on any installation.

Company Switch

The “company switch” has been in the entertainment industry for many years. You typically see these in concert halls, school auditoriums, and large convention centers. They give the entertainer the ability to connect their own portable power panels to “house power.” We offer a flush mount unit, powder coated to match the wall color it will be installed on, which is our key selling point.

Dual-Purpose Generator Docking Station

Our dual purpose docking station fits seamlessly into any new/remodel project. This unit sits right next to a permanent generator and the respective ATS. The end user can connect a portable generator and/or a load bank simultaneously. Once again, saving time and labor when service work needs to be done to the permanent generator, eliminating the amount of cable that has to be hard wired into the main breaker. On the most standard dual purpose docking station, we use the industry standard kirk key mechanism to transfer the power from permanent generator to portable. These are field installable with a quick and easy two bolt system.

Trystar Loadbank Docking Stations are designed to easily and safely connect a load bank to any permanent generator and/or UPS system for annual maintenance. Without this quick camlok connection, the service company can spend hours hardwiring cable from the load bank to a generator. In life safety situations, the permanent generator may have to be tested up to 4 times annually; having to hard wire each time adds a ton of cost to an annual service agreement. In situations like this, the load bank connection cabinet pays for itself after one year.
